Terms of Use
Effective October 27, 2026
Insurance Made Simple is operated by AQC Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we" and "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. They apply when you use usinsurancemadesimple.com or buy our books. By buying or using them, you agree to these terms.
What you're buying
Our books are digital PDF files, in English. Right after purchase, we email you a link to your library, where you can download them anytime. Prices are in US dollars and are a one-time payment; there is no subscription. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.
How you can use the books
When you buy, you get a personal license to use the books for your own study. You can keep the files on your own devices and print copies for yourself.
You may not share, resell, upload, or otherwise distribute the files, or use them to create a course, class, or competing product. The books and everything in them are © AQC Technologies LLC.
An independent study aid
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any state department of insurance, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Pearson VUE, PSI, Prometric, Medicare, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, HealthCare.gov or any other government agency, any insurance company, or any pre-licensing education provider. Those names are used only to describe what the books cover.
We are not an approved pre-licensing education provider, and we are not a school or a course. The books do not satisfy any state's pre-licensing education requirement and do not count for credit hours or continuing education.
What the books cover
The books are a study aid for the national part of a state's Life, Accident and Health, or combined Life and Health insurance producer licensing exam. They are organized by the published Pearson VUE, PSI and California exam outlines. Each state's exam also has a state law block (or state law questions mixed in), and that state law is not included in the kit. Rules that differ from state to state are marked "Varies by state" in the books, and figures that change every year carry their year.
The books don't replace a pre-licensing course where your state requires one, or your state's own candidate handbook. Exams, outlines and state rules change, so always check your state's current candidate handbook and your department of insurance. The exam facts on our homepage were read from the published handbooks on the date shown.
The books explain insurance as exam content, so you can study for a test. Nothing in them is advice about buying insurance, or legal, tax or financial advice.
We work hard to keep every page accurate. If you spot an error, please email us and we'll fix it.
No guarantee of results
We can't promise that you'll pass the exam or get a license. Results depend on many things, including how you study. If the books don't help you, our 7-day money-back guarantee (usinsurancemadesimple.com/refund) applies.
Limitation of liability
The books and website are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
